I didn’t actually witness this, my father did and it wasn’t actually a fight, but interesting nonetheless. In the late 1940s, my father who lived in Penang, Malaysia, got to know this elderly man through his friends. He was a quiet and nondescript person with a sad face who had emigrated from China to Malaya during the interwar years. My father found out that this man was a Dim Mak (Touch of Death) martial art master (yes, Dim Mak did exist!). He also found out that the master had got into a number of fights when younger, and had killed a number of people. In remorse, he decided that his art was too dangerous to pass on and refused to take on any students, wanting the art to die with him.
